Being a Dodger fan and having a great appreciation of the history of the game, I hate Barry Bonds. Not only because he wears the hated orange and black, but more importantly because he ruined the integrity of the game I love.
I also have a problem with those who say "Oh, I don't hate anybody. I am intellectually superior and am beyond any emotions of negativity." To those people (brettj666), cant you understand that sports would not be alive without competition and passionate fans? Loving your guys and hating the others is what makes sports so great! You cannot call yourself a fan of a team if you say that you like all other players as much as you like your players. If you can say that you experience absolutely no emotion when a rival team bests your team or vice versa, well then I actually pity you. Maybe I am intellectually inferior to you, but I have a greater appreciation of sports and competition and I would take that any day. Go Dodgers! Eff the Giants!

i cant really think of a player that i really hate...but i kno a lot of ppl shud not b hatin on barry bonds...it hasnt even been proved that he has used steroids.ppl r only watching his power stats (homeruns), which is a factor in why he is so well known...but what about all his other stats...hits, stolen bases...etc, etc...
And why is everyone so mean to david ortiz...he used to play first base, but when he signed with the red sox, they had already had a 1st basemen...

Well, I'm not sure if he still counts. But, I guess my first choice would be Jose Conseco. That guy is just a snitch piece of garbage that's looking to make money, by downing the sport that gave him a career. I mean, where would this bum be without baseball.
If we have to stick with current players then I'd have to go with Schilling. Not because he's a Red Sock, I respect anyone who can play for any team. I dislike him because he likes to shoot his mouth off about other players. He should just concentrate on making himself the best player he can be, and not talk smack about anyone else.
Just my humble opinion.

I really hate Jeter and Johnny Damon
Ortiz hits "stuped" homeruns? The Yankers missed their chance to pick up Ortiz, you can bet they kick themselves every time he hits a home run off of them.

Why is a long story, he's retired now but Will Clark, I'm a Giants fan I even hated him when he was on the team. He was a bigger prick than even Reggie Jackson. People say they hate Barry because he's obnoxious and rude to fans, Barry is a real nice guy compared to those two.

I hate some of the things that Ty Cobb got away with when he was a player.
If they were to add up all of the crazy things Ty Cobb did to players, fans, and the general public in jail terms today. Cobb would be sentenced to jail for 239 years without the thought of parole.
Why? He once ran into the stands and beat a armless man to nearly to death. He hated every thing for no reason.

I'd have to say anyone that does not give 110% on the field. Those players just take advantage of their climb up the ladder from "A" ball but when they get to the "show", they just take their guaranteed contracts and play with less intensity. That really irritates me.

Toss up between Bonds and Schilling. and anybody who thinks the Yankees are better of without Jeter is just not getting their medication or the right amount of oxygen. He is the leader on and off the field and the ultimate clutch hitter. And is the only player who plays the game right. And the comment about playing in Tampa, A-rod couldnt make them good right now so shove it.
