old 5 ans 10 pence coins?

Question

Any one know where in the UK i can buy old 10's and 5 pence coins
just restored a old bellfruit coin op bandit.
i would like to keep it as was
rather then changer the front and the hopper to new coins.

i would like 50 quids worth of 10's and 20 quid in 5's
any where do deals on bulk buy if anyone can point me in the right direction would be great

You could get them at Ebay, but it would be expensive, as the coins are no longer legal tender, the ones still available have risen in value, you could also look for the old shilling and 2 shillling piece, I think they were the same size, but again they would be expensive.
You probably need to find someone who has put coins into bottles for many years and would be glad to exchange them for their original value, but finding such a person would be difficult.

Have you tried the New Zealand and Australia money?
When I used it I was reminded to the old UK money. I am not sure it is the exact size, but if you can use it it is bound to be cheaper than buying antique coins.

i would burglar an old people's home..they often have loads of this stuff squirelled away.

while you are there i could use some old sovereigns and will be only to happy to fleece you on the price.
