I've notice that in porn movies the men at usually well endowed. If straight men are watching this stuff why aren't they just average? Is it that like in action movies men are in fact fantasizing to be the lead actor and thus larger than life (please forgive the pun)? If this is the case woman would have little to fear from the women in the porn movies, because they aren't the true focus. So is the main appeal of porn the fantasy that to be the type of man that could get a woman to do blankity blank kind of sexual act, because in reality they could never get their wives or S/O to do it?

I heard one guy ask another guy, when you are watching a porn do you prefer the man who is pounding the chick to have a small dick or large. The guy responded without any real though, a big dick. The man asking the question then asked, why does it matter how large the guy is? This one he thought about and I agreed with his response. Because I'm fantasizing that I'm the guy. She is blankety blanking me not him.
To any ladies who might still read this question and answers. We do not compare you to porn star women. She's just some random chick that we fantasize about that particular time.

Porn is not just for hetero men. So, the well endowed are there for women and gay men who watch, too. Also, I do think that some guys enjoy the fantasy of being that guy or just enjoy seeing a woman done well by a large penis.
I also think men like the simplicity. Man comes into scene, finds horny woman who wants to have sex with him. They then proceed to have wild monkey sex. Nice, simple, not much work and uncomplicated. Real realtionships are more demanding and I think men like the break from all that.
Thats also my theory behind men masturbating. Its because they just want to enjoy an orgams without having to put a ton of effort into pleasing someone else.
I totally don't understand why women are threatened by porn. There isn't much in there that most people don't do with thier mates.

For the same reason that men's porn shows WAY ABOVE AVERAGE women that you know most men couldn't get anyway, because THAT'S what men fantasize about, and that's what sells. Why look at a bicycle when you can view a Ferrari? There ya go.

Not true about men being the main focus in porn movies. When I watch porn with my fiance it is constantly in my head.. "does he want my to look like her? dress like that? let him do that nasty stuff to me in bed? is that what he expects?" but my man usually thinks that way about the men, he has insecurities too, hes always asking me if i would prefer him to be bigger, or better cut, or something along those lines. we watch porn together to get more courage to be rambuctious in bed with each other. But i can say i honestly watch the women more in the movies than the man, because of a stupid female insecurity of wanting to know how i compare to her.

Most people cast actors in porn based upon the size of their penises... with a secondary factor being how "hot" the guy is. (Even if a fella is a total BEAST and unattractive - if he's got a HUGE penis - he can still get work in the business)
And any person who says size doesn't matter is LYING to you.

Ever notice the dudes in porn movies look like they've been sleeping in a truck stop in Armpit, Texas and the chicks are smoking hot. Guess who's doing the casting? The dudes are always nasty looking, big schlong or not.

i personally liked amature stuff. i liked real people, as in husbands, wives, ordinary people. i would rather watch you and your wife than any of those. for me it is all too fake and staged most of the time. almost all the porn i view is stuff people share over the internet, back when i was into that. even that got old. i can't remember last time i looked at porn. after awhile it becomes just the same old stuff, you know.

I think you are getting close to what a co-worker pointed out to me recently. Guys watch man on woman porn. The like watching some woman get pounded by some stud. So, in essence they are turned on by a man's organ and watching him have sex.
Doesn't this make them somewhat gay?
