I love the name Aliya Austyn the name is unique and stands out.

I love Austyn for a girl name. But if you think about the future when shes saying "Hi Im Aliya" Its sounds like "Im a liar" It sounds pretty but with kids in school they may make it difficult.

I think it's pretty. I would end up calling her Allie for short if it was my own baby. Then again my name is Katherine and my parents always called me by my full name, not some nickname like Kathy or Kate. Also, the "y" in Austyn makes it definitely more feminine. As a teacher I would have pronounced it correctly upon reading it off of a role sheet.

I don't like it when the first name ends in the same sound that the middle name or last name starts with. It's hard to say. I like Aliya, and I like Austin. (don't care for the Y there myself, but hey, it's your kid.) But not crazy about them together. I'd try to figure our which one of those two you prefer and play with them with other names. You may come up with a combo you like even better. If you are in doubt, yell the whole name like you would if you were really angry or calling a kid in from down the block. That was always the test for me.
I ended up with a Breandan Heath and a Siara Nishelle.

The only thing I can think of is that kids might call her a liar - you know, Aliya the liar. Oh and she's probably going to have to correct a lot of people who will want to pronounce it Ah-lee-ah. Good luck!

I think people will be pronouncing Aliya A-lee-ah, but other than that it's very pretty

I love the name Aliya !! I like Aliyah better with a H . It reminds me of the pop singer that died. She was amazing and pretty. !! I'd even name my daughter Aliyah. I'm not sure about Austyn. It's different though. how about Aliyah Allison? Alyiah Amilie ?

i love the aliya its very unique but the austyn is kind of a boy's name. kudos on the originality on both of them though!!
