It's not wrong but it might not be worth it. Now your ex will be your brother-in-law. Bleah. But as long as both you and your ex know it's over, follow your heart.

No folks don't think, I just asked the same question in family and relationships. People are entitled to love who they want and this is just my opinion on it. I don't believe in keeping it in the family it is too many men outside of the ex's family to love.. I think it is just morally wrong because who will you date next in the family. Too many folks have that share and share alike syndrome... But to each his/her own.. Last but not least for those who say love has no boundaries. What about those who fall in love with a blood related family member? Is this considered wrong because you share the same blood line? Then there are boundaries. There are just somethings you don't do. Would you date your son's friends or your daughters ex boyfriends? Would you wear another womans underwear? Come on people have some standards for yourself.... and don't tell me you could care less what people think of you because if you did'nt you would not be asking these questions.... Society can make or break you. I have an associate that has 4 kids by 4 different men 2 of the men are related but all 4 are freinds and believe me they talk bad about her real bad and the families of these men OMG it is horrible and now she is regretting all of it. The guys that are family got their kids because they feel like she is unfit and the courts agreed and a lot of it had to do with her life style and the safety of the kids, the other 2 kids don't respect her at all these 2 kids are now teenagers and yes the folks they know and go to school with clown them because there mother is a whore in so many ways.... You can't help who you are attracted too but you don't have to act on it for so many different reasons...

I'm not sure where this registers on the "wrong" file but it's not the best idea in the world. There are so many men out there and so little time. Leave the ex-BIL alone!!!!!

I think you can not help whom you fall in love with, however I think it would be weird and could cause some problems within the family.

Wrong, no, you can't help who you love. It may be a little uncomfortable. I would not persue this relationship, it could get too messy. Good Luck to you!

No, I don't think it's wrong.
On the other hand... I worked with a guy that was killed in a crash, his widow ended up marrying his brother. It was odd, but not "wrong".
