Oh dear! Not at all. The makeup seeps into your skin which clogs pores and also prevents cell turnover [ which basically is the thing that makes you look fresh and dewy!] Besides.. Its a mess to clean

Do NOT go to sleep with your makeup on.
Your skin needs to be able to breathe while you sleep. It needs the freedom to rebuild, revitalize and regenerate. This is the time when your skin starts to repair and turnover.
Sleeping in your make up will not only prevent this from happening, but it will also encourage pimples and wrinkles to rear their ugly heads.
Five minutes of make-up removal may sometimes be a hassle but it's a hundred times better than the potential consequences of not doing it. One quick and easy makeup removal brand you can try is Olay Total Effects Cleansing Cloths. They're a cleanser, scrub, toner, and moisturizer in one tiny little product, and takes less than 2 minutes to use. Your skin will thank you for it!

P.S. Do not sleep in your eyemakeup, especially if you have mascara on! Mascara is the leading cause of cosmetic related eye infections and may lead to blindness if you frequently sleep in this product.

NO!! ALWAYS wash your makeup off before you go to bed. Otherwise, you'll need to wear EVEN MORE makeup to cover all those annoying pimples, as a result from the makeup clogging your pores.

Wash the makeup off with facial scrub and warm water, to open your pores and remove any dirt/makeup that may have wedged their way in there. Then, rinse with extra-cold water to make sure those pores snap shut, so you know there ain't anything gettin' in there tonight!

EDIT: If you accidentally forget to wash your face one night, don't freak. Just be sure to wash it the next morning- and don't make it a habit!

I would not recommend it -- not only does it make your pillowcase dirty-- it also is clogging your pores . Just think-- you put on a fresh face in the morning and go about your day-- when you get home-- not only do you have 8 hr makeup on your face but whatever else that has been flying threw the air all day-- plus sweat. So with that in mind, take the day off and start fresh in the AM

NO! sleeping with your make up on is the worst thing for your skin!! Once in a time is not a problem but if you keep doing this very often...dear!

I have friends who some are 30 years old and they look like 50!!! Do you want to be one of them? Your skin needs breathing! And while you sleep all your pores are open so it can breath FREE! If you keep the make up on its like someone is holding your nose and hardly breath!!

no way!! you should always clean your face (if you can) before 8-9pm. womens pores open about then, and are more suseptable to break outs. if you take the old makeup off before you sleep you don't have to worry about the make-up breaking down and clogging your pores. this helps to keep your face clear of break outs. this should be your routine...take off eye make-up with an oil free remover, then clean face with something like noxema pads or something, then use a toner to close the pores. this is most important. if your pores are open, then dirt can get in there and cause break outs. and pls always use a lotion on your face. whether its oil free or not. this helps keep the skin suptle and smooth and kinda slows down the aging process. most people only get wrinkles because their skin is too dry and not moisturized properly for years. so take care of the skin your in!! hehee.

Well you know if you go to sleep because you're just too tired and not bothered, then its okay..but you shold REALLY wash your face right before you go to bed every night because otherwise all those chemicals in make up go right into your skin and cause break-outs..i used to do that and i realized i had way more pimples then...washing your face every day and night has cleared me up TOTALLY, even if you're not wearing make up ;) but yeah specially thinks like foundation, cover up, blush, and any eyeshado or liner are really bad..lipstick and gloss is oaky but i dont understand why you'd want to do that ahha..but dont worry if sometimes you fall asleep ;)

NO NO NO!

Your body absorbs whatever you put on your face.
Take a look at what's in your cosmetics.
All of those ingredients that you cant pronounce will be absorbed into your body if you sleep with it on.

It will clog your pores and dull your skin.
It is extremely bad to sleep with your makeup on.
If you absolutely MUST do it, use mineral makeup.
It's less offensive to your poor skin.

Not really, foundation, powder, and blush would mess up your pillow and clog your pores, eye makeup smears on your face and it's bad to get mascara on your face, and lipgloss and lipstick are messy.

Wash your face before bed.
