The earliest a pregnacy test will have accurate results is 19 days after intercourse. After 21 days from the day of intercourse will yield the most accurate results. Waiting until the first day of a missed period is pointless because it is still possible that it is too early to test. Take a PG test based on a calendar not the timing of your period. Good luck!

Read up on baby books to take your mind off of it, most have sections for ttc
Hide the test, better yet have your man hide the ( I had to have my husband hide them, I was testing almost every day)
Make your self a calender, give yourself a sticker for evry day you do not test -- sounds childish but works

Yes, it's too early. A test won't be accurate until the first day of your missed period.

You should act as if you are pregannt, just to be safe, you can take prenatals, no drinking or smoking. Things like that. just in case you are you want the baby to be safe. I know the waiting sucks, but youll get through it.

just relax and wait! it is the best thing for you, because then your hcg levels will be higher if you are pregnant...or you might wait and get your period...either way its best to wait and then get better results!
it was hard for me to wait also, but it was worth it to get a clear "positive"
