If died means that your heart stops I've done it all my life. If it means seeing white lights are black draped dudes with a scythe--no way. I've blacked out on occasion, but wakened in about a minute.
It's Called Wolf, Parkinson, White syndrome, if your curious, and it is genetic.

I died when I was 6 yo. Because this was the third time I passed away from child abuse, I tried real hard to make it to the most brights light. What I saw was one bright light then beautiful fields of yellow flowers, a huge mountain in the distance, and a lovely lake. I saw a giant of a man stop me by standing in front of me, then he became normal man size. Guess who it was standing before me? It was the carpenter, Jesus. He told me I had to go back. I begged him not to send me back because of the abuse. He said I still had things to do. Then He hugged me. How can you say no to Him after all of what He has done for us? So, my angel took my hand and we flew back. I read about other peoples life after death experiences and realized that there were alike in many ways but also different in many ways.
Even though this happened to me, sometimes I wonder if Gods exist. I remember Him and know He does.

well i have two TRUE stories.
my mom's friend's husband (Russ) was playing golf and he got hit in the had with a golf ball and so he went to the hospital and he died... TWICE. he was brought back to life with the 2 metal things that they push on your chest. now he is life and well and he is being paid my the state of florida each month. i dont see why but he is well off.
the other story is my mom was gravely ill and she laid down on her bed and her breathing stopped. well my neighbors were with her and realized this and then they were doing everything they could to keep her alive. when my mom got her breathing back she told us that she saw a white light and so we figured she almost died. we asked the paramedic and he said it was a possibilty.
sorry for the brief stories these were quite awhile ago and i cant remember them that well.

I would think you'd get a better answer by asking people who have been dead for more than just a few minutes. If I have my history facts straight, there are some people who have been dead for more than a hundred years.

Yes, I had an asthma attack and was dead for (they tell me) several minutes. It didn't seem that long. I saw an angel. The angel did not approach me, just waited. When I was brought back, the angel disappeared.

Yes, and there was absolutely nothing there. I really think those who claimed to have seen things when dead, are hullucinating.
