Considering how many people use the NYC transit system a day and how many problems there are, it is VERY safe.

I don't know. Why do you ask? I feel the fear coming on. You don't what you've unleashed, boy. The fear is what overcomes you when the edge comes close.

ahem... so, again, why do you ask? I've survived them so far. But given the record of CIty Hall lying about the presence of poisons in the air... I would not doubt the subway being a death trap or the jurisdiction of nazi junkheads. You never know in this decadent citadel.

Your chance of dying in a bridge collapse, terrorist attack, plane crash, or any other freak accident is probably less than your chance of winning the mega million jackpot.

I'd worry more about things that could actually kill you.

i believe they still have not fixed the problem with the gap at the platform. overall though i would say fairly safe

its fine. just read the signs and ask people if you are unsure. we are still nice people, when we are not in a rush.
