I love this question. The reason being I was just a couple of days ago telling someone about this person's name.The mother of a little boy that I used to babysit some years ago; When I went to the interview and she said her name was Peninah I had to try and keep a poker face; to me it was the funniest name I had ever heard ; but added to that it was rhyming with a familiar body part. If you are from Trinidad you'll know what I mean.

In grade school I had a friend named "Tangerine". I always thought that was an odd name. There also was a girl in high school called "Precious" and another named "Princess".
The weirdest as far as I'm concerned was an incredibly white girl named "Hiawatha". She was pale, blue-eyed, and naturally very very blond. It just didn't fit. Especially since I think her namesake was a dude.

Someone i was interviewing had the name January (a female)
Her birthday wasn't in this month either. It's really sad that one can't pick their family or their own names like you can pick your own friends. If I had a name that i dispised i would change it as fast as i could.

I went to school with a girl named Ikeosha (pronounced like it looks). I named my daughter Rabbit. people think that's pretty strange.
