I don't know how effective Priest's return to KC will be, but I have a feeling that LJ will be playing elsewhere this season. If it comes down to it though, and the Chiefs won't budge, I'd hope Johnson plays for them instead of denying the NFL fans the privilege of watching him perform at his best. I think Michael Bennet is most likely to be the Chiefs starting running back this season, with Priest being utilized as a change of pace and getting about 5-10 carries per game. LJ is not even listed on the Chiefs depth chart, which lets you know how they feel about his contract situation.

Even if Johnson doesn't sign, odds are it won't be Priest doing the dirty work. He's a one in a million gamble, and the K.C. offense is in too shabby of shape to take that gamble. I'd bet they give Johnson his money by Week 1. If not, it will be a running back committee. They have some young backs that are better bets than Priest is.

Priest won't be the #1 in KC again. LJ deserves the money...though I hope he does get traded to Green Bay.

The way it's looking probably no. He needs to quit being stubborn and get his butt in pads. I was hearing that the Priest aint even 100% percent. It'd be a shame if he got hurt again tryin to be captain save-a team. Priest need to go back home to San Antonio. I swear everyone in that city claims they know him.

Ted Thompson thinks he can build the Packers in the process the draft. Trades are very almost impossible to drag off interior the NFL. So, i think of the probabilities of Larry Johnson coming to green Bay are very almost 0!

Yeah I think he'll get some kind of long term deal and start...but why does he think he deserves to make the same kind of money as the great LaDainian Tomlinson...league MVP? When Larry wins MVP, he can make that much money...

Well lets see LJ did vary well because he got a lot of carries so why should they give him 30 Mil for something they could pay 3 backs to do for less?

LJ will play...and if you're concerned about fantasy value, don't put any eggs in a Priest Holmes basket...

yes, he'll be in the lineup at the start of the season. he may not have a new deal, but he'll play.

these things always work out so that the players play. he may be promised a new deal, or something may be in the final stages of negotiation, but he'll be on the field come week 1.
