I love 80's New Wave, but that really is not rock at all. I LOVE a lot of 60-70's rock like America, Crosby Stills and Nash, Beatles, AC/DC, Blue Oyster Cult, Doobie Brothers and whatnot. I am not a big fan of 80's rock outside of Motley Crue and The Cult. I would have to say that the 90's rock was my favorite. I really liked the grunge scene at the time, but now, looking back, I prefer Live, Sponge, Bad Religion, Samiam, blah blah. I can't say I care much for the canned sound of today, although every now and then a creative band emerges...although none are coming to mind.

The 80's/Early 90's.
Some 70's also.
I can't appreciate most music from this era, which some find surprising as I'm 16.
I dwell on the fact i wasn't born early enough to experience the 80's, like a bitter old lady.
Bring back the 80's/early 90's Guns N' Roses line-up!!
