I wouldn't do more than 20 of the size you have. For starters, add at least 4 more tiger barbs and maybe 2 or more of the same tetras. Tetras and barbs are community fish and do best in groups of 6 or more. Also, when kept this way, the tiger barbs aggression is more likely to be kept within the group and not toward the other tank mates.

You shouldn't add 10 at a time, that is still too many. Try to keep it at 5 or less when stocking, and give them at least a week to settle in before adding more.

The general rule is every inch of fish needs one gallon of water. But you need to consider the adult size of the fish when choosing how many will fit, not the size they are right now.

Only add 3-5 fish at a time per week. If you add a lot (like 10) you risk stressing them out (even killing them) or causing a bacteria bloom. Bacteria blooms are not very dangerous, but they make your tank cloudy and the only way to fix that is letting it fix itself (can takes 1-5 weeks to clear up), so it's not pretty having a cloudy tank.

Also fish thrive better when they are in groups of 3 or more of their own kind. If at the least when you buy, at least get 2 of the same kind.

Make sure you are getting compatible fish! you've named community fish so far, I'm just hoping that yellow one isn't a cichlid!

forget the 1fish per gallon rule, it's absolutely humbug
like Ryan mentioned already get your tetras and barbs some more company since they really do better in groups of at least 6

Hope that helps
good luck

It depends on the type and size of the fish
I would not go over 55
add about 10 fish at a time, just make sure they are all compatible

it really depends on the size of the fish you can have alot of smaller ones or a couple of larger ones just ask the people at the pet store when you pick what type of fish you want

Without knowing the size of your fish, I think you're set with what you have.

"1 gallon for each inch of fish you have" is the rule.

I'd add about 10 guppies. Watch them breed like mice.

About one hundred and ten fish, two per gallon.
