Notice that the same people that say AT&T has the right to mute public communication are the same people who talk about the "liberal media" and oppose the fairness doctrine.

Do me a favor. Please read the 1st Amendment before posting something like this and making yourself look foolish:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Pay close attention to the first 5 words. They say Congress shall make no law. AT&T is not congress hence they are free to censor whom they please.

Thankfully AT+T went along with our President Bush and spied directly on the American people with purely domestic spying to uncover millions of anti-Bush liberals. Now we have a list for the camps.

AT&T is a private company, not a government agency, so you can't call it censorship.

But even if it was government, they have no obligation to broadcast what anyone says, or I'm being censored every time government doesn't put what I say on the six oclock news.

AT&T is a corporation. They can do with their assets what they want. You and I may not agree, but it's their right. Of course, if people don't like that, they can respond by not purchasing AT&T products.
