okay i want to buy a laptop but i was just wodering once you buy the laptop do you have to pay for anything else liek internet or once you buy the laptop it alredy has the internet?

it will be internet ready but you wil have to buy the internet. most comptuer come with a free trial of aol. but it won't already be on there you will have to sign up. (unless your laptop has the built in wifi card than you can get the internet if you can find any hotspots or networks in range) but keep in mind most people secure there networks so internet leechers can't access them
I use comcast cable high speed internet for 50 a month and is really fast. (without cable tv discount can run you 70 a month)

No. the laptop does not come with internet, it MIGHT come with ( check with salesperson) a built-in-wireless card. you will have to connect the laptop directly to the internet or set up a wireless network ( ask salesperson OR get "geek squad") . You pay a monthly fee for internet--I use roadrunner HighSpeed---$60 month ( I think) Hope this helps, take care = )

You still have to pay for the Internet service as using desktop. Plus, you may have to replace the battery every two to four years.

Internet is probably not included, in the past before broadband it was common to get free dial up with new computers, not anymore.

A laptop is no different than a desktop, except its portable, chances are it will come with a ethernet jack, although you might have to buy a wireless card. You would have to pay for internet service just like with a desktop, unless you leech wireless.

i bought a macbook and the only thing i had to buy was a group of programs such as word and excel. it was about 100 dollars but internet and everything else was free.
