You could probably get the old style for cheaper than the new imac..
i might wait a bit to see the reviews of the new imac. I hear the viewing angle/picture quality is a bit weak.

get the new aluminum and glass imac, bu wait until fall wen leopard is released

Get the new black and silver one. I'm sure Apple Inc. will upgrade it even more. A new revision. I'm sure it will have a Blu-Ray drive later on.
