online sales?

with the increasing of people selling online via blogs, live journel, etc. and nameless ppl coming in and tagged sayin do not sell this item else i will report you, etc. wats the punishment of them reporting and how does this reporting system works? how the seller get caught. i mean its quite puzzling. as we can sell on yahoo or ebay. but cant sell online? because most stuffs are brand new and unused? i guess its a better alternative to sell online rather getting a lisence to sell that 1 thing u have in yr house..

You can sell online. eBay is online. You can't sell in Yahoo! Answers because that violates the community guidelines: http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_guidelines.php
