Yes, I understand where you're coming from. You hang out in religion an spirituality, or women's studies for awhile, even the vegetarian section- it is so loaded with people downgrading others for their personal choices. You get alot of it in P& S, also. And then you go to psychology, or mental health, and read all these people's heartbreaking stories- of how badly they feel about themselves, thoughts of suicide, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and then you wander why. It's a sad thing. All these commercials and television shows, that are so overloaded with self absorbed people, this is how we are training our society to act, and you see people like that everywhere you go. It is hard to feel that you fit in with society, when you are not this way yourself. And it is hard to NOT be drawn down by these types of people.

Just the other day, my brother's girlfriend and I were talking about this man that my mother buys frozen foods from, who is just so cheery and nice all the time. Most people in my town think he is a bit strange. He is just a really nice and friendly person. And we were talking about this, how it is a sad thing, when society encounters a person who is genuinely in love with life and with people, and he is thought to be "strange". Are we living in that bad of a world, where kindness and happiness toward everyone is so foreign, that it is thought to be "not normal", or "fake" ? This is one of the reasons why I have not had cable in 4 years. If there was a group started, I would sign up in a heartbeat.

I am not sure what you mean by remove. If you mean that they may choose to become Recluses or Hermits then I agree with you.
