Got any decent ghost stories or experiences to share?

I shared a 2 bed student flat in Newcastle with my girlfriend at the time, we used the second bedroom as a spare and there were some weird things going on there.

The Bathroom light would switch on all by itself. Now this is odd but it would do it specifically when certain people walked passed. Not always and it did depend on who walked passed. It usually happened to me and a couple of our friends.

I had a cat who frequently refused to enter the spare room. He would spit and growl at the doorway.

I was once walking through the flat and 'saw' who I thought was my girlfriend in the kitchen. I continued into the spare room to see my girlfriend in there working. I went back to see who was in the kitchen and it was empty.

One morning my girlfriend was working in the spare room and I was in the front room and I heard her scream. She ran passed me claiming the chair she was sitting on had moved on its own. As I headed to that room banging started in that room. The cat ran towards the kitchen hissing and spitting and I followed the banging through the flat to the front door.

One night we had been out and were met by neighbours who complained about the noise coming from our flat. When I pointed out we had been out they claimed we must have left a CD on or something. We let him enter the flat to check, he went straight to the spare room and complained that's where the sound was coming from. There was no CD player in there just a PC, which had no sound card or speakers to play music and it was switchedoff. He left very confused.

Later that same night we were asleep in bed when the lights in the bathroom, bedroom and passage all came on at once, along with my radio. Then the banging started again and went through the house to the front door. And that was the last time it happened, apart from the bathroom light switching on and off all the time.

All of this is true and did happen. It happened between 2001 - 2002 in Heaton, Newcastle. I am fairly open minded but before this happened was a complete sceptic. I always try and find a scientific answer to everything but for that sequence of events I am at a complete loss. I have a degree in Physics so do not generally get carried away with stories of ghosts and ghouls. If anyone can enlighten me as to how this all occurred can you let me know.

Funnily enough, my friends house is haunted. Over the past few weeks 4 different people have had experiences there. 1st was Michael he lives over the fence from my mate, they were talking at their doors and mick said, have you got the bairns in? Andy said no why? Mick says he thought he saw andys youngest running from the kitchen to the living room. A week later, chelle, micks mrs was talking to Andy (at the door again) and she saw a child running from the livingroom to the kitchen! She also asked him if he had his kids in. As if that wasnt enough, I saw someone walking from his path into his front garden. NOW last night Andys mrs was in bed with their daughter and their sons where in the other room. (the daughter hadnt been feeling well) His mrs woke up and her duvet was being pulled from her, she reckons it was a child too, it was like he wanted some motherly attention. Chelle, Andys Mrs and myself are going to have a wee seance tonight to see if we can contact this spirit and find out whats happening in the house as it is not a threatening spirit. SO FAR!!!

The wife of the former owner of my parent's house has been haunting the place since my parent's moved in 25 years ago, when we were younger both my brother and I have seen a shadowy figure over our beds late at night just watching us, it was kind of wierd at first but when we found out that our room use to be the master bedroom it seemed to make sense.

I was 12 at the time of my first encounter I was laying fast asleep next to my little sister at the time she had claimed that she kept having a man wake up to her at night and shake her, so mum sent her to sleep with me, I had awoken to a strange noise, and turned around, the first thing I saw was our fan, whiched seemed to of been lifted from the ground and the protection cover taken off, it was facing my little sister, as if the ghost was trying to harm her, I stood still, unable to fully understand what was going on, I was frozen with fear, but out of no where my father enters the room and turns on the light, the fan drops to the ground and everything becomes normal, my father said he woke up from a bad dream about my little sister dying and he came to check up on us.....To this day I still dont know fully what happend this night, but this is my personal expereince.

I once had a guy walk into the kitchen of a house I used to live in, and through the CLOSED back door. Was a very strange but peaceful feeling...not at all scary.

Sorry yet in fact there are not any flight sims on ps2. real flight sims did no longer make it to consoles until eventually Il-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey on ps3 and xbox360. The flight engine is a real simulator, regrettably it is likewise a stripped down version of the computing gadget pastime Il-2 - Wings of Prey, and is polluted with arcade aspects like on line loose-for-all, limitless ammo/ordnance in lots of missions, and in the xbox version, no blackouts/redouts through g-forces. there have been by no ability any flight sims released on consoles until eventually now that. There are not any for ps2. believe me, I looked everywhere for one. it is arcade or no longer something. Or get a ps3 and IL-2 Sturmovik.

I have recently been on a serious investigation at Berry Pomeroy Castle in Devon where a trigger object had been moved by about 45 degrees and no-one had been near it.

I lived in an old house in college and there were several things that happened but the strangest one was I came home and all my kitchen drawers and cabinet doors where wide open. Weird...

loads of stuff happens to me.i heard footsteps coming up my stairs one night my cat freaked and shot behind the curtain i felt something walk into my room and for about an hour it sounded like somebody was writing at my desk.
when my grandad died i heard the encyclopedia books being moved that belonged to him in the morning i told mum and she found money hidden in them.
my legs used to go dead at the pub we used to live in and apparantly the girl that used to live there was crippled.
i heard people drinking and chatting laughing one night went downstairs there was nobody there.
this place im in now is scary sometmes but il stop boring you now.
