Why you want to have a Dalit Sankaracharya? You want to
dalitise every aspect of the society,a queer idea.
Sankaracharya is selected through a hard process.
In India a sage,a muni,a sannyasi has got no caste from time
immemorial. The Swamijis of Ramakrishna order are highly
respected and a Brahmin touches their feet without any
clamour. The funny thing you want to be a Buddhist,a Christian
and still want to have caste reservations. There is caste
system in every society.

Very simple. The Dalit who wants to become a Sankaracharya can study vedas from Govt. Owned Sanskrit college and become an Acharya., establish a Sankar Mutt with the help of Government and preach. Otherwise there are so many Hindu Mutts headed by non-Brahmin Acharyas. Sri Ramakrishna Mutt, Chinmaya Mission, Hare Krishna Movement, Sri Narayana Guru's Ashram and similar institutions which do not have caste considerations for giving Sanyas and Vedic knowledge.

Old fashion to criticise Brahmins and to become popular. We had Dalit President, Dalit CMs and many Dalits occupied high offices. Has anything changes? Our mind set should change. The people who occupy the seat not their parents' caste matters.

Sankaracharya is head of a Hindu Mutt. One of the qualifications for the Acharya is he should be well versed in Vedas.According to Manusmriti Brahmns and upper caste people only can have access to vedas.Dalits are prevented from studying it.How, then , coul a Dalit be a Sankaracharya?

Why are you particular about Sankar Mutt alone. There are many Mutts with non-brahmin heads.
Some age old customs will take long to change, but it is also undergoing change. Who knows it may happen in future.
But why are you unnecessarily dragging Brahmins here.Even some people of other castes will resist it.(I am not a brahmin).
Though slow the discrimination will disappear with time.Don't try to magnify things.

We must have a dalit Shankracharya but we will never have one due to the Brahminical social structure and beliefs.
