I have read that her looks are a problem. She would be representing the U.S., but people would notice that she is not very attractive. Is this really what we want?

When one represents something, especially a country, along with policies, looks are very important. The media will scruntinize fashion, make-up, etc. So, the answer is yes. If we are going to have a woman president we need someone better looking. Someone like Whoopi Goldberg would be much better.

Yep, the American way is shining through. To hell what's in the candidate's head, their ability to make good sound judgements and get things done. They have to be a model.

Hillary, or any other candidate for that matter, can look JUST LIKE the eye of my butt hole. As long as they do the above, they have my vote. A candidate overly conserved about their looks and appearence is spending to much time on the wrong things. It is what's INSIDE the head that counts, not the looks of the head. They have a staff to deal with wardrobe, makeup, etc.

From some of these opinions, we will end up with another president with the IQ of a cracked brick, BUT they will look good though.

She is married. The only person to whom her looks are relevant should be her husband. Sure, his vote is in on that topic, but that's between him and her (and the other hers).

In any case, her looks are not important. Her positions (those that she has managed to stick with in more than one speech) are bad ideas for America. Most of the Dems this year sound like the Jimmy Carter campaign. We should all remember (or be able to study) how well that worked out.

I don't want the United States in the toilet like in the Carter years. No vote for Hillary, good looking or not.

What does looks have to do with being a good president? Get over it. Most of our representative are not very good looking. Some better than others but as long as they bring America back to being a force to recon with I don't care if they look like Medusa.

Who is saying she is not attractive? I don't want her to be my president but I do find her to be attractive. Looks has no bearing on her ability to do the job. People are going to notice she is going to raise taxes and rule with an iron fist. That will trump any concern over looks

A better question is should we have another corporatist as president. or if we want 20 years of Bush-Clinton.

This ain't American idol. It's the future of the world. Priorities like this are the reason we've got Dubya instead of leadership.

Her looks are not a problem. She's not Playboy material, to be sure, but how good looking do you expect a 60 year old woman to be? And what do looks have to do with anything? We ain't gonna be schtupping her.

It is her temperament, her personality, her actions and her beliefs that are the problem.

What does looks and/or gender have to do with being a good president??

I will not vote for her because of her views on certain issues. I has nothing to do with her looks.

Haha. Thanks for the laugh. Although, let's get realistic, many of the world leaders aren't gorgeous model-types. Look at Gorbachev (oh wait, he just got a modeling job with Louis Vuitton!) But, hey...what about Ukraine? After some foul play, he looked awful, but his POLICIES helped. I think we really shouldn't focus on looks of the person, but of their politic aspirations and such. =)

If we have a female president, we just need one that is relatively honest and holds the values of the nation.

Hillary is consistently dishonest and holds her own ambitions above the welfare of the nation (in my opinion).
