Actually its a combination of both......The ONLY way to really WIN to Live is by losing several times in the process of achieving this worthwhile goal!! Life is a journey of continuous achievements and dismal failures as well, but the true Winner's are the ones that finish all the way to the end of the race!!!

If one wants to lose, one is in love.

One who wants to win, never wins because the winning post keeps shifting with each success.

Take your pick. As for myself, I would rather live irrespective of winning or losing.

Win to live by a landslide. While the occasional loss is good (a learning lesson), long-term losing erodes any sort of self-esteem and deprives oneself of the joys that make life worth living. Now, by striving to win always, a person sets themselves up for only good, as always trying is good exercise for the mind, the body, and one's psychological well-being.

There are other choices ... I would seek to live to win, but then again, that's just me ... but as they say, if winning was easy, everyone would do it ... so I just live and if I win, that's great, if I lose, then that is okay as well, because, as has been suggested, tomorrow is another day
