Yeah, I lived in Tallahassee for a while and went to an old Insane Asylum that's been condemned for a long time.. It's called Sunnyland and there's all kinda stuff about it being haunted on the net. Anyways.. it was crazy %@ going on in there... Like our flashlights turning off and on, and hearing weird noises. This is Florida too so it was really hot but the building was freezing cold When we left we all had handprints on the backs of our shirts like someone was trying to push us out... It was really weird..

I used to experience a lot of paranormal activities when I was much younger but, now that I have progressed in age the phenomena doesn't occur as frequently. An example of one was that I had some weak telekinetic ability, When I'd get upset about something and not express the anger outwardly it would resolve by a near by object falling down or a slight movement of the object. It wasn't a big object or it didn't go flying around the room. For one example, I was told some very disturbing news . Other people were in the room at the time so I couldn't express my feelings and kept my thoughts inward. The cupboard door was open where some plastic cups were set. A few of them were stacked atop the others. One of the plastic cups that wasn't quite secure, came tumbling out from the cupboard at that moment. At first I just dismissed this as a fluke and a coincidence at that time, but thorough out time, I noticed it happening again every time I'd get upset. It rarely happens any more.

Once I was lying in bed early in the morning. I heard someone call my name from the doorway. I look over, say "what?" and realize nothing was there except for this big white shape that kind of looked like a figure. I asked my family if anyone had come into my room that morning, none of them had. I was about 12 years old. That was 14 years go.
In the house I live in now, my bf saw a ghost and he doesn't even believe in ghosts. I was doing some laundry, he comes running into the bedroom with the baby in his arms and his face was all white. I asked him what was wrong and he said he saw a ghost. I thought he was messing with me because i believe in ghosts and he doesn't. he swore up and down he saw someone go from one room to another. i looked around the house and found no one. i hear things once in awhile that i can't explain in the house when i'm alone and the baby is asleep.

Oh I have a great one. There is a bed and breakfast place up in Pennsylvania somewhere I don't remember. Anyway it was the same building that soldiers from the Civil War stayed at. Also, General Lee stayed in the very top room. So in the middle of the night me and my family went to his room to check it out. The whole bed and breakfast people and everyone was in bed except for us and it was dark and quiet. Well when we got up there the door to his room was wide open so people could go in. As soon as we all went in the door started to slowly shut. Not even kidding it was pretty creepy. Then after we were done we walked down the stairs to go to our room and my older brother felt a chill on his back and he started to freak out because we thought it could've been a ghost. It might have been a draft or whatever but it was still scary.

It was a cold and scary night 10 years ago i was only 9 and my parents went out to dinner leaving me all alone.... anyway everything seemed prettnormal untill boom boom boom heard footsteps down stairs... then i heard crashing of glass and tables over turning.... Then upstairs I heard an old record playing it was a really creepy song too... then then the unfolding ladder that leads to the attic fell down... then my parents came home when the ladder dropped. then this is the weirdest part the next day i went dow n stairs and nothing was overturned or broken and i was not imagining this the sound was much louder then the record playing and my parent heard that and the ladder fall but nothing downstairs because that was earlier in the fright fest right when they left... The whole thing was really weird and i remember peeing my pants like 5 times..,lol

I remember I went on holiday one time, and this house was on a hill- never liked it since I went it in as I had bad feelings about it. Friend's kids felt uneasy, the friend felt someone behind her and everyone in different rooms all ended up sleeping on the floor in one room!! There were shadows moving in the hallway- no joke too. Was sooo glad to move out, didn't like the holiday at all! What was sooo weird was the house too--the heaters had to be lit with a match to work :o . Ohh of course I never had a shower with a fire over my head, no wayyy.

I've had a few encounters. One is when I was watching tv in a little apartment ( I was 14 then). My mother was in the kitchen cooking. Suddenly I saw a woman in a white gown glide from the kitchen to the bathroom. I glanced at her quickly, but she disappeared. I got up and ran to see if it was my mother. She was still in the kitchen, completely unaware of the woman. I checked the bathroom and no one was there. Wow! I thought, my first ghost encounter! I was more in awe then scared. That was cool.

♥ Ok here are two stories.... more about spirits than ghosts though...
Story 1: A few months after a friend of mine [[we'll call him J.R.]] died I came home from work to find our neighbor having a BBQ. My mom, my brother & the neighbors daughter etc were all over there. I told my mom I wanted to kinda relax for a few minutes before I came over. So I did what I needed to do & got online. I cant remember exactly what I was doing, but all of a sudden I felt a tap on my right shoulder. It wasnt like a windblown tap, it was like a distinctive tap. I immediately turned around to find no one there.... I got up and looked through the house thinking my little brother & neighbor had decided to play a joke on me... but no... as I was looking through the house I saw a my brother & neighbor running over to my house.... [[You better believe that I went to the neighbors and didnt stay home alone.]] Lolz...
Story 2: This story gives me comfort more than anything. My cousin [[he is also my God-brother]] was playing while I babysit him one day when he was about 2 1/2 or 3 [[he's now 4]]. Our cousin died in August 2005 and we tried to keep the memory alive. My little cousin was able to tell you who Greg [[my cousin who died]] was, he was able to tell you what sound his truck made, etc etc etc. One day we're playing and all of a sudden he starts running towards the kitchen screaming "Greg Greg Greg". When he reached the kitchen he stopped, smiled and ran to the kitchen door [[which leads outside]] and started banging on the door saying "Bye Bye Greg Greg".

Well I have 2 ghost in my house. When I was alone, I heard footsteps and no one was there. Then at night I hear footsteps coming from the attic and the basement. When I was sleeping, I felt someone touching me and no one was there. Then a few weeks ago, I looked out the door, and I saw a black shadow passed by. And sometimes my TV turned off by itself, no it wasn't a blackout. And I hear them calling my name or saying something to me.

About 4 months ago, I lived way out in the boonies and I was lying in bed. Well, all of a sudden I saw this bright light flashing in my window. I was so scared. It flashed in threes and my bedroom was upstairs so I knew that nobody could have been shining a light through. I looked out the window and nobody was out there. I let the blind down and took one last peek and I saw a shadow floating in front of my window. I screamed and ran out of my room down the stairs and I never slept up there again. I was terrified. Also, my brother saw my grandfather walking around the pond and my mom looked and he wasnt there. Well, he died one week later.
