Most do find it offensive..I don't...Its nice to know I can catch someones eye. It would certainly make me smile and feel good about myself.

Uh.. having had this happen a few times, I have to say I'm not a huge fan.. It's cute and all, but it draws attention from others around and it can be really embarrassing. it's always nice to get a compliment. it's nice to get flowers too but i wouldn't want them thrown at me lol
I certainly don't see it as a bad thing. It's not malicious or harmful or anything. It's flattering. But the method of giving the compliment can be a little embarrassing. Any women who's had to put up with catcalls pretty soon learns not to like them so much. Some of the more crass ones can actually make us feel badly about ourselves.. objectified, you know.. so please don't yell something crass! lol So then it also depends on what you yell. If it's not crass, I think it's no big deal but don't make a huge habit of it, would be my suggestion. :)

i like compliments just as much as the next girl but when a guy is yelling it out of a car window it just screams immaturity :)

Not usually, except a couple of weeks ago, someone yelled "Wanna F***," out of their car window when I was walking home after bar time.

rude and insulting. Even though it's a compliment, to me it's like they're being sacaristic and joking around

i have a funny story about that me and my little cousins, 3 of them, we where out walking to the snow cone place and some nasty guy yells out of his car all my little cousins turn around and give him dirty looks, after the guy leaves my cuz the little devil say its cause u have a really big -A s s-, so i think its rude especially when theres children around!

I think it's funny in a way. They are in a car....Hard to say something to someone as they fly by. Yeah it's really rude.

i think is'd just stupid. it's annoying and tacky. we women love to get compliments, but not that way. and also getting compliments from strangers can be a little freaky.
