I live in Iran so the morning there in USA was our evening here in Iran.
I remember I had gone for a walk with my father and when we got back and turned on the TV, we both got shocked. I asked my father "Do you think whether Iranian regime is involved or not? What will happen to us?" and my father said "Politic is a dirty game and sometimes many innocents should be killed to become an excuse for acts of those who want to govern the world."
And now after 6 years, I understand that he was totally right!
PS I was in 11th grade too!

Sleeping in. I didn't have to be at work until 10:30 but my mom called me and said to turn on the TV. I started watching 30 minutes (or so) before the first tower collapsed. The second collapsed on my way to work as I heard on the radio. They sent us home early from work as we were a mutual fund company and were tied into the market.

I was in 2nd grade (in class) when that happened.
I didn't even know what happened because I was so little but the next day I was at my friend, Cindy's house and her mom was watching the news. It had the towers burning up and falling on the screen. That's when I had an idea of what happend.

I woke up to drive my mother to the airport. She was going back to New York after a short stay in Los Angeles. We didn't turn on radio or TV that morning, and when I got to the L.A. airport, it was EMPTY!

The security guard flagged us down and asked us to leave. When we asked why, he said "because of what happened at the WTC". Confused, we turned on the car radio and found out about the attacks.

I was getting ready for the day and while I was taking my son to school I heard it on the radio. I then went home for about an hour before going to work. It was a really unproductive day, especially being that my boss's husband was in the Pentagon at the time and she couldn't get ahold of him until later in the day.

At work. The place that I was working was about 2.5 miles away from Cleveland Airport and right on the path of the runway approach. They were bringing the jets in unbelievably quickly... just one after another. It was a really unsettling sight.
