I know! I hated that part. I also disliked JKR's decision to have Voldemort turn out to be Harry's father. It was sooo Star Wars.

And what's up with Tony Blair turning out to be a wizard serving as both Prime Minister and the Minister of Magic? I'm not sure if that's legal under the British Constitution-- is there a precendent for that kind of power?

Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon didn't die. They just had to leave their home for their own safety. And before they left his cousin thanked him for saving his life in a weird sort of way.

They didn't die. They went into hiding because death eaters were after them.

I'd like to know what fake version of Harry Potter that Pip girl read.

Well, we never got around to that did we. I suppose, given that we don't know what became of the Dursleys we can assume that somewhere outside the scope of DH they got to a nice ripe old age and like any of us--fictional or factual--they faced death from "natural causes." But, since we didn't actually get to read about it, we can only guess.

Did you even read the book? You barely had to go through the second chapter to know they left for their own protection, the same way Harry had to. Read the book before you ask questions about it.

They didn't die. They just left the pages of the book before Harry had to leave the house for safety (The seven potters).

There's no reason to believe that they're dead.
The last time we see them is when Dedalus takes them away on 7/25/97, and they are fine then.
We later learn that Dedalus' house was burned the night the Ministry fell, but he wasn't there, so we conclude that the Dursleys weren't there either.

it's nice to know people really pay attention to the book.
THEY DIDN'T DIE! They went into hiding under the protection of the Order of the Phoenix.

Uhm, where did you get that idea, sweetie? They didn't die, they were just taken to safety by the Order of the Phoenix in case Voldemort went after them to get to Harry. Someone's pulling your leg.
