I am retired. I got myself into a lot of debt. It would be nice if I could live in a better house. It needs a lot of work. I also would like to help others but can not because of my finances. I also would like to help out my childrem. I'm in real estate now. I wanted to do some thing else 7 years of retirement. I thought I could make some money. So far it's cost me more money than what I've taken made. This is why I would pray for finanical gain. I know my broker said he prays for things to happen for him in a possive. He seems to do okay. Is is right or wrong to do this. If so do you think /God will listen to me. Will God give me some financail gain. My broker said that I'm not bringing in any money right now for him. I think he wants to let me go. Nothing is working for me righjt now.

I do go to church just about every Sunday. I'm an elder in mour church. Our church is loseing members and we're running out of money fast. I would like to see more of our members come to church. I would like to go on serving my God at this church. I read the Bible but should read it more. I am a sinner and have sinned many times. I accept Jesus as my Savor that that he died on the cross so that I amy live. I go my our Pastor to visit older people from the church.
My sister is dieing from stomach. I pray that she would not be in so much pain. I know I'm not a very good person but I try.

I am a Christian and have accepted Jesus as my savior. I fully believe it is OK to pray for God to provide for you financially. Matthew 6:25-34 tells us that we are worth more to God than anything else. He provides for the birds so since He loves us more, He will provide for us also. The key is to seek Him first. You need to have a relationship with Him first and seeking His will in your life. In other words, if you want money to provide for yourself and others, I believe God will provide it. If you ask Him for money so you can get one of those new Ford F-350 trucks because the F-250 just won't haul you and your dog around well enough, then good luck getting that. ;-)

Prayer works and God provides. It just takes a little faith in Him.

What is wrong with praying for a way out? It isn't like you want the money for drugs or booze. You clearly state you want to help your family and other people close to you. I will pray for you to get a big windfall, too. I hope it happens. Good luck. Play these numbers, 23, 4, 17, 45, 8, and 3

Of course you may pray for anything you wish. however, God does not always answer prayers in the way expected. You "got
myself into a lot of debt." Nothing that you received for that was worth the price. Wanting to help others is not the formula for having prayers answered. Instead of asking try giving. Give God the pleasure of your
thankfulness for what you have. Try that for ten days
and wait for him to reveal
a way for you to take care of the debt you have. When that opportunity comes do not dismiss it. Instead act on the knowledge you have been given. Step by step
"inch by inch, row by row"
God will help you make your garden grow. Follow this
direction and write back in a year praising Him for your
progress...go now and obey,
grasshopper.

Prayer is a process of reflection, not incantation. Pray and the answer will come to you, whether it's God giving you the answer or your unconscious or whatever. There is a reason things are not working for you and finding the reason why should be what you pray for. But praying as if to work a spell for financial gain isn't really praying. It's wishing for magic.

Someone once said . . .
" that is waiting for a train that never comes ."
Many people do it who get no where , unless they have bad attitudes and are really praying for the patience when dealing with people or something .
Just praying for $$$$ is pointless .
Most successful people are the "do- ers" .
They study finances , investments . . . Get part time jobs that pay $$$ . . . Learn to live below their means instead of sucking themselves into debt .
Another old saying " God helps those who help themselves " .

Also , very bad time to be in real estate unless you are a veryyyyy seasoned person who is highly skilled in the vast complexities of foreclosures and distressed properties ( NOT for novices ).

Rethink your skills . . . what did you do before you were retired ? Any way to parlay that into part time work ?

Good Luck in all your efforts . . .

hi, No; if it somewhat is the way you sense with regard to the Catholic methods then I propose you circulate the yank Evangelical course. they say many times: a million) cut back up all your credit enjoying cards. 2) start up tithing 10% of your earnings to their church or you are able to forget approximately any help from God. 3) Pray to be spared from the sin of coveting thy neighbour's products aka preserving up with the Jones's which in all probability have been given you into this mess in the 1st place! Cheers, Michael Kelly

If you know the Lord as your Savior have faith and pray the Lord will give you what you need. I can't say it will be what you want. God never wants his children to be with out and he will hear our hearts desires but give us only what we need. We need to come to Lord with more than just money problems or in the time of tragedy the Lord wants to be involved in your daily life. He's not a genie can't just go to him when you need somehting.

PRAY FOR SPIRITUAL GAIN. HELP OTHERS BY PRAYING FOR THEM. THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD ARE TEMPORARY AND SHALL PASS AWAY. DO NOT FOCUS ON THE THINGS OF THIS LIFE, SEEK HEAVENLY TREASURES...ELOHIM'S(GOD'S) CHURCH DOES NOT NEED MONEY TO SURVIVE OR TO SPREAD THE WORD. PUT ALL OF YOUR TRUST IN EL SHADDAI(GOD ALMIGHTY)...ELOHIM BLESS YOU.
