i do think larger agendas are at work here, and it is strange that this seems to be one area of agreement between them.
i do believe that there are purposed plans for a North American Union and that refusing to secure our borders is among the first steps to implement this plan and much that is going on now is being done in relative secrecy.
this plan would model the European Union and the purposed currency is called the Americo and would be like the Euro.
we must ask ourselves: are we ready for this and what effect would this have on us as a nation. i know that many see globalization as needed to compete with the world market. what is the cost and are we willing to pay it.
On August 20-21, President Bush will join Mexican President
Calderon and Canadian Prime Minister Harper for the second
Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) summit.
The SPP's stated goal is to:
"...Consolidate our action into a North American
framework to confront security and economic challenges,
and promote the full potential of our people, addressing
disparities and increasing opportunities for all."
New York Times bestselling author Jerome Corsi just completed a new book detailing our government's rapid move toward a North American "union." It's called "The Late Great USA."
on the surface, this may seem a logical purposal but when one considers the ramifications, we must be watchful.

Terrorists do no longer enter the U. S. by way of Mexico – they fly into JFK purely like every person else. the U. S.-Mexico border can not, and could no longer, be sealed. The border is the 0.33 richest in international (criminal) commerce – in the international. there is not any way something would be accomplished that chokes off that gross sales. The beneficiaries of unlawful immigration are: a million) the Mexican government and a couple of) US organization (that's the comparable ingredient as being the U. S. government). as long as those in fee of the two countries desire the present device, it is going to stay the present device. each ‘answer’ presented isn't something yet political hypocrisy to get votes. ------------------ gremlingts - Oh, come on. I stay in Tucson and if the Minutemen achieved something it became into, in all probability, to make a ingredient. i'm no longer particular there has ever been a reported amassing of Minutemen the place they weren't outnumbered by using contributors of the media.

I think our government is doing the right things, just not enough of them.
Right things are more border guards, and cracking down on employers who use illegals.
I agree with democrats, we can't just seperate families. If an illegal has a child here they are a citizen, we just can't seperate families.
We need to come up with a way of saying to people who are here and have jobs and children citizens here is how you can become citizens, so they can become tax payers.
I think my issue is having illegals means they aren't paying the taxes and getting all the same benefits I am,
I think the issue joe biden has raised with this whole border issue is that we only check 5% or less of the cargo thats coming in, and thats not enough,
we can't afford as a nation to check 100% of the cargo but maybe we need to come up with technology to do that purpose,
we have a problem right now with china, every month its either toys that have a problem or dog food,
the solution isn't asking china to devalue its currency its putting checks on quality of those goods we are importing

Well, the republicans were in charge the last 6 years of every branch of government from the senate, to the house, and the president and they did NOTHING absolutely NOTHING to stop or slow down illegals coming into this country. Now that they are here, it's stupid to think the day will come when someone will just round them up and take them back. All those who voted the repubs into office the past few years now have to lay in the bed they made when it comes to illegals. SO when you vote next time in the elections will you simply vote the republicans back into office as you have the past few years?

If the current powers that be, truly put an effort to stop terrorism, they wouldn't be making money anymore. They are investors in the manufacturing of war machines; if all war ended they wouldn't make any more money. So, there really is no interest in closing the borders. Hellooo... not that long ago he wanted to sell a US port to an middle eastern country.

I hear you...If you spilled a bottle of wine on the floor, would you pick up the bottle then clean the mess? because some one out there is worried about the spill while the bottle is still tipped and spilling. Our government is failing to address the issue because they Never solve a thing.Name me one campaign promise you know of that was actually done,And I know there are a few,But the point is mostly valid. That as long as there is a problem the people are distracted from the fact that government is run by people who are fallible, And are caught up in the habit of self promotion. And some of our elected officials don't care that we are being invaded.

Because the illegal immigrants are good for bottom line corporate profits. They drive down the cost of labor, allowing employers to keep more of their gross profits. This is the great conundrum for Bush--does he support the goals of his corporate cronies, or does he support the goals of the anti-immigration crowd?
The same is true of Democratic leaders--do they support the goals of labor unions (which want to curtail immigration in order to raise salaries), or the goals of those who believe the United States owes something to people who have been living and working here for 20 years (most of whom see laws against illegal immigrants as racist).
It is all so screwed up, and few are willing to take an honest look at the question--they prefer the "us against them" mentality.

A great question. If he was really sincere about keeping our country save, the borders would be his first priority.
