ok, well i went to the Ortadontis today and im not shure witch i should get regualr braces or invisalign???? Cuz my moms freind is an dentist so he can get it for us for less but im just not shure witch one to get??? wat r the pro's and con's
and are there any good insurances for them???

if your teeth are SLIGHTLY crooked, use invisalign. if you're teeth are a more than crooked, get braces...braces are definitely cheaper, they work faster, you get more insurance on them and you change the color every month. but they are very noticeable and can trap food and other stuff under them easily. invisalign is not noticeable, but is much more expensive and move very slowly.

You will see a bit of the plastic with your gap but it isn't all too bad. You will probably need to have a few attachments onto your teeth to make sure the move. It really depends if you want to fix your bite as well and how old you are, if you are 18+ then Invisalign will not help your bite all that great. Also Invisalign only works if you wear it for 20-22 hours a day so the progress is all up to you. Invisalign is also far more expensive than traditional braces so if money is a factor then this may help you decide.

It Depends On How U Look I Say, I Say That Because Some People With Braces Can Look Really Cute In Them And Then There Are Times When Some People Look Ugly With Them In But With Invisalign You Wouldn't Be Able To Tell So I Think That You Should Go With Whatever Style That Probably Will Make You Happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With insurance, invisalign will cost at least 1,000 dollars more than regular. Plus every month you get a new set. It will cause pain for a few days and may be hard to eat hard things. I have regular braces now and they're better.

Invisalign is so much better!! I no becuz my dad has invisalign and my sis has braces. W/ invisabilgn you can take them out when ever u want not w/ braces, when you have braces food gets caught in them w/ invisalign you take them out!! Braces r kinda ugly and you can see them invisaling is clear people will have no clue ur wearing them!!
Invisalign is way better!

My dentist says that braces are best because they old "train tracks" are tried and proven. Invisalign is a quick fix.

it doesn't really matter because u will have to get the invisaligns changed as much as regular braces are tightened
it all depends on if you want people to know that you have braces or not &hearts

braces, even though you cannot see the invisaligns' much you will definitely know they are in your mouth! never heard anyone talk right with them

Janie; your Best bet is to have a sit down talk with the orthodontist ask him the pros and cons and abot the insurance good luck

my friend bought invisalign and threw it in the trash once. yeah- that was costly and disgusting.
I had braces. I looked adorable.
