wat r u actually asking with this question?

if u graph -15+8i it will be in the top left quadrant (2nd quadrant) and u can work out the angle it makes with the positive real x axis by doing: pi - artan(8/15)
and u can find the length of the line by doing: sqrt(8^2 +15^2)
where sqrt means sqaure root.
so r=sqrt(64+225)
=sqrt(289)
=17

then polar form is in the form rcis(theta)
which is 17cis(the angle u calculated)

and euler's form is 17e^i(angel)
hope this is wat u wanted 2 kno!

Your question does not state what type of help you want from complex statement that you have given in the form z = -15 + 8i, so the answer may not satisfy your requirement. anyway, what you have is a complex in a plane where the real component is a point 15 units to the left of the horizontal axis, while the imaginary component is a point 8 units to the top of the origin. This complex notation can also be written in the form z = A*e^(j*theta), where a = sqrt(15^2 + 8^2), theta = arc tan (-15/8). Hope this helps, but try to give more details in your future questions for better answers.

You mention an area of math, trig, and you give a complex number, -15 + 8i, but YOU HAVEN'T ASKED A QUESTION!

If I were to guess, you want it in polar form, (r, Θ)? If so,

r² = (-15)² + 8²
r² = 225 + 64
r² = 289
r = 17

(-15,8) is in quadrant 2, something to keep in mind when we work out Θ.

tan Θ = 8/-15
Θ = (not -28.07°, but) 151.93°

so -15 + 8i = (17, 151.93°)
