yes. There is such a thing as a democratic conservative, as well as a moderate Democrat. Not all Democrats are Liberals, though some people would like to label the two together all the time.

Of course. There are even conservative Democrats, just like there are liberal Republicans. Not as many of either these days though.

Yes. But, what is the point of being in the Democrat party if you do not side with the left wing liberal loonies who are now running the party?

Of course, it's just that liberals are mainly Democrats, but not always. My own Governor is a conservative Democrat. Dave Freudenthal.

Yes, there are several. There is a sub caucus in the dems called blue dogs who are very conservative. Democrat really focuses on responsibilty of government, liberal has more to do with social issues.

Yes.Most people who call themselves Democrats nowadays are NOT liberal.
Mainly because of Conservative propaganda that's convinced most Americans that "Liberal" is a bad word and liberalism is a bad thing.

There are many moderate Democrats. Like all politics, though, you only ever hear the extremes of the party. I happen to think with a degree of moderateness comes a degree of apathy. Or at least non-zealotness.
