Why has the Dem. party not pandered for their votes?

None that I know of. The libs have made everyone a minority except the straight white male. And, I am glad I am part of that group. I do not want any special treatment.

I think you're probably right. I can't think of a single group that cannot claim "minority status" other than straight white males.
Why don't Democrats pander for their votes? I don't know. I'm still trying to find a single large city in America that votes Republican.
I know there's a few out there. Maybe.

Report: Whites Now Minority in 1 in 10 U.S. Counties
As of 2006, non-Hispanic whites made up less than half the population in 303 of the nation's 3,141 counties, according to figures the Census Bureau is releasing Thursday. Non-Hispanic whites were a minority in 262 counties in 2000, up from 183 in 1990.
The Census Bureau's report has population estimates by race and ethnicity for every county in the nation. They are the first such estimates since Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast in 2005, scattering hundreds of thousands of people.
The biggest changes in were in Orleans Parish, La., home to New Orleans. The share of non-Hispanic whites in Orleans Parish grew from 27 percent in 2005 to 34 percent in 2006, while the share of blacks dropped from about 68 percent to 59 percent.

Speaking as a straight white male I'd say that our main problem is that we're definitely a minority (nationally and globally) that insists on wielding an obscenely disproportionate share of temporal wealth and power. Hard to feel sympathetic for the Sunnis under Saddam? Same deal with white males only on a global scale.

White guys were privileged for so long, holding others down. Now we have to pay! In our PC world white males and Christians are fair game.
The Dems don't have to pander to white Liberal males. They have all their votes. And they're not getting white Conservative males. It would be a waste of time. Their focus is on everyone else.

If you take into concideration that White Females have Minority status the White Male is the Only Minority in the World.When do we get Minority Status?

for scholarships your pretty much SOL if your asian. But over all white males from upper middle class better have scored a 1600 on thier sat or be an amazing athlete if they want a scholarship. irnoically enough in college men are the minority so you would tihnk our goverment would stop sending so much to women and give a little to men.

I believe there are more women in the US than men. Actually I am correct. According to the 2000 Census the male and female populations were 138.1 million
and 143.4 million,respectively.

Whites are now the minority in Houston, TX. 36% Hispanic, 35% White/Caucasian.
