I heard that eating jello makes your nails grow faster and be stronger.

I think your nails are like your hair there's no way to make them grow faster, unless your diet is super crappy. You need to eat a balanced diet for sure! About the nails though, people always think my nails are fake, i even had a lady at the nail salon ask me once lol. I've gotten awesomely beautiful nails like I did hair, by taking care of them. I keep good nail polish on them at all times and file them just a little every 5 days or so as needed. This prevents them from chipping and peeling so that they grow strong and healthy. File and polish all the time!!! good luck!!!

Nails grow an average of 1/8 inch per month. Therefore, it takes anywhere from four to six months to grow an entirely new nail. Also, nails grow faster during certain hormonal fluctuating periods (ie: the beginning stages of pregnancy, or just before menstruation). Ironically, biting your nails can also increase nail growth since it creates an increase in blood circulation. However, we wouldn't recommend biting your nails to increase nail growth. Those who are right-handed may also notice that nails grow faster on their right hand than on their left. Nail growth may be slowed if your diet denies the nail matrix of its essential nutrients. Illnesses can also slow nail growth, as can some prescription medications. And lastly, after you turn 30, your nail growth naturally slows down on its own.

Don't worry, they will grow back. Focus your attention towards other things and sooner than you know it they are already long again. If you really insist, try one of the nail stuffs from Sally Hansen. I don't think that there is something out in the market that will affect the rate of growing your nail because they are dead cells. I am not sure about this, though. Just make sure that you rub them. Because friction stimulates the cell growth or whatever, according to my anatomy professor. Good luck!

Drink lactose-free milk? Or eat a lot of spinach? Even that wouldn't grow your nails any faster, but it will make your nails a bit stronger so you won't get your nails cut so easily next time.

Use Sally Hansen nail growth nail polish. It's clear and you can easily get them at drug stores. Infact, I just got a new bottle yesterday. Scary thing is, I was reading the back, and it says "It may contain cancerous things" something like that. I got really scared! haha~ Just dont sniff it!
