I'd say the first couple of years out of school are shakey... they can go either way. Priority is getting a good job and enjoying your salaried freedom for the first couple of years. I actually starting saving a 401k at this time in my life, bought my first car on my own but it was rough. Things started getting really good closer to 30. But that was just my experience and your outlook has a lot to do with your experience too. Whatever, hang in there because it does get much better. College is instrumental in teaching you to think ergo... making the right decisions. Have fun and be fair... remember to always treat people how you would like to be treated. Life is much easier that way.

Life is only as good as you make it.

There are parts that are going to totally suck, and you can either let those be what defines your life...or you can use them as "experience" and let the good parts define your life. It's entirely up to you.

I've seen a lot of bad too...and for the most part, I prefer to define my life as pretty darn good.

I have a wonderful daughter whom I love and adore. Now, her father was a wife beater who also couldn't hold a job and financially ruined us. So..what do I focus on? I pick the fact that I have a wonderful daughter.

My job is highly stressful and I work for some of the most vicious people I've ever met...it also pays me well, and I work with some absolutely wonderful people. I try to stay focused on the fact that I'm well paid and I've met some wonderful people..as I search for a new job.

So, you pick...glass half empty? glass half full?

Worse, much, much worse. I spent 10 years getting my B.S., I wish I spent 20. Getting a real job and working 8 to 5 sucks compared to college life.

You're newly born. Life will be difficult. Everybody have had experience it. It's normal. This is your 'Start Line'. Now as a graduate you're in the open market. First come first serve. Act quick. Don't look back. Look forward. Never listen to failure. Always have courage. Think you can, if you think you can. I'm sure you can, if you think you can. Good luck!.

It depends on you and what you do. My life got a lot better after college, but that's because I made some good decisions. And made some money, too.

Life is what you make it. You can be an optimist or a pessimist. The choice is yours. Do you want to create change or just complain about the way things are. I choose to make my own possibilities with God's help.

It's going to get more complicated. Now, you have to turn to the world of daily work and the nine to five can suck if you don't love your career. Just make life what you want it to be....and realize that you do have the power in your hands to make things better if you want them to be that way.

I think tough the first couple of years when you get your first apartment, navigate landlords, get used to your first job, and learn how to budget money. After that though, I just loved the free time.

College was the last great Cocoon. Now YOU make the Nest and feather it. Go for it. You can do it.
