he said in an interview once that when he had his bad car accident, doctors had to wire his mouth shut and get multiple surgeries on in face and in his mouth.
he said one doctor didn't do the procedure quite right and left him with "puffy cheeks"

You too might look like that if your jaw was wired shut and reconstructed. But I have to admit, he does look like he has a whole bunch of cotton in his mouth. Like the Godfather. "I'll make you an offer you can't refuse."
