I just bought the book "Choices in Relationships" for a class i have to take. The required text is the 9th edition for over $100, i purchased the 8th edition for under $10, is there that much difference in the actual text between the two editions, or are they relitively the same?

Honestly, probably not that much difference. Constantly coming out with new editions of textbooks is a cash cow for publishers.

They should be pretty close, but if you get the chance, spot-check the 9th edition and see if things like the chapters are the same. Also, look at the introductory pages in the 9th edition and see if they say anything about major changes since the 8th.

Well, yes, if the author is foriegn, but not much. For example, I live in the U.S. but I visit Canada often. Up in Canada they have the British version of Harry Potter, and I've bought most of them. The only differance I would say is certain words used by the British dont click with Americans (mum & piss off) so they made a version for Americans to understand better.

your professors will needless to say be utilising the hot version cuz they love making scholars unfavorable. however the outdated variants could have particularly the comparable **** in them textile smart, it is basically a extra constructive determination to get the comparable e book because of the fact something of the classification cuz previous variants could no longer have particular questions or pages that your professor will assign for HW and all that jazz. It sucks majorly yet bypass with the hot one, then sell it while your finished with the classification and get a number of you $$ back :P

The contents of the book should be the same, but they may have different page numbers, or a new introduction by someone. Check with your tutor, but you should be ok.

They will be the same, unless the 9th edition is a "revised edition".
The title indicates it is fiction, and they are never revised.
