I had that kind of relationship with my father. He passed away 6 years ago. It was always such a good feeling...and when I'd call him and he'd pick up on the first ring and say "Hi, Dinah" way before caller ID. I used to LOVE that.

YES. One time I was living in Ventura CA and my phone was an information operator in a Stockton CA branch office (where she lived) and I called 411 and she received my call. I recognized her voice immediately (she is my mom of course) and forgot what number I wanted to get!

Yes I have .... I always find it a bit weird, but it happens a lot to me, or I will have a flash thought, about someone, I haven't thought about, in a long while, and suddenly the phone rings, and it is them...

yeah thats happened to me a lot. it's like the other person is hitting the buttons to call you and ur already on the line. it mostly happens to me when i hang up on someone by mistake or they hang up on me
