I keep recieving job proposals through Career Builder/Monster and a few others that say they have viewed my resume and think that I would be a good candidate for the job. The only requirments are that you are 21yrs and 2/3 hrs a day to work. It said that I would recieve 5% of each transaction and a base pay of 2,000. a month. How do I reseach or talk to to find out of it is a scam. I dont think it was asking for any money anyways. I would like to know if it is a waste of my time though. Thanks

they are almost certainly scams.

i think the way this is set up is you receive 'checks' from their 'clients' which you deposit. Then you take 5% and send the other 95% to them.

several months later, the 'checks' from their 'clients' all begin to be returned as forged, or unauthorized signature, or something similar and the bank wants you to return 100% of the money -- which you don't have any more!!

oh

that you've received several of these 'offers' only tells you that the scam is very profitable some of the time for the yergs who are pulling it off. That means that there are people in RL who are losing thousands or more.

every business is responsible for all of the checks they deposit. if you take a bad check, it is your loss, not the banks' loss. if you take a forged check, it is your loss. if you take a stolen check, it is your loss.

Btw, the same applies to credit card payments. if you deposit them in your bank, you are responsible for them. ID theft? your loss. stolen number? your loss.

get the picture??

Always Remember: All spam emails are scams.
my Advice: Don't deal with anyone from a foreign country or Accept checks from strangers and never use wire/bank transfer services.. you risk losing your $$ and your mind.
