Maybe slightly but the party platform goes too far for my liking.

Majority Rule / Democracy was was defined as:
As few as 51 percent of the electorate can enslave as many as 49 percent on any issue.

Therefore, freedom seekers looked for an alternative whereby everything or nearly everything was handled through market based transactions.

When the Libertarian Party was formed around 1972, there was a fundamental split. Purists advocated no voting. Others argued that you have to start wherever you can start, despite the apparent hypocrisy of starting a political party in order to replace political parties.

Im mostly Libertarian, the main thing is we need a avenue to begin to fix things and the Libertarians look like the way to me now, things will not really change under the Dems or Repubs.

I score very libertarian on this test.

However, I am not the sort of libertarian they have in mind. I am an anarchist / libertarian socialist (note that this sort of libertarian actually used the term "libertarian" for over a hundred years before anyone suggested applying it to the kind who wrote this test).

I am. It seems that I am exactly what I thought I was before taking that quiz. No surprise to me. I was surprised at the overall results though. With 36% of the people taking the quiz turning out to be libertarian. Its amazing how everyone talks a good game about wanting to have all their rights as a libertarian, but when push comes to shove, they always vote for one of the ridiculous big party candidates.

There are many parts of it that have great appeal to me. I wish the other parties were more libertarian in their approach.

No, but I have strong libertarian leanings.

I always figured I was a liberal but according to this I am a Centrist. Which I guess makes a lot more sense. I don't completely agree with either liberals or conservatives.

I`ve done the quiz and I am a STATIST.

I mean, this is such a small test, that it cannot be deemed necessarily as be very accurate.

I am NOT a Libertarian according to this test.

Very close, but Centrist.

Interesting test, but it doesn't take into consideration foreign policy views.
