Just prior to the start of the test match, the curator had predicted that it will be high scoring match and that the pitch will not give any assistance to the bowlers during the first 3 days. India were lucky to win the toss as they could take advantage of batting first when the pitch is very good.

As far as the poor umpiring decisions,these are part and parcel of the game and one should forget about it.

If you are referring with respect to the current test match, you
are wrong. It is batsman paradise and the pitch ain't helping
any bowler. Even Kumble is nearing his 100.
IMHO, England should have picked 2 spinners. Umpires do
err, but the all it matters is whats the line on the betting circle.
So does India....this will be long day for the bowlers and it is
hell specially for fast bowlers.

1. Kumble's maiden Ton.

2. shreesanth hitting Anderson for 3 consecutive boundaries.

if it was the case indians would have not one even one match.but for sure sometime later i hope to hear not that the match was fixed.since indians are good at it.
