If he obtained the logo without your consent he is violating copyright laws. If he is using the logo to falsely represent himself as an employee of your company you could sue him for fraud. If you or someone with your permission sells the shirts to your sub contractors or the public then yes he can unless you have a rule prohibiting the wearing of your logo by anyone other than employees on your job site.

Is it a uniform or just a shirt? People wear shirts with company logos all the time. There is no legal effect of just wearing the shirt.

If he's using the shirt to represent himself as a member of your company for gain, then no.

If he just likes the logo, yes.

no big deal, I do it all the time.

I want people on the job site to understand who the sub-contractors are working for so they can contact me if needed.
