Everyone in life get sprain later or sooner. You will be ok after some days but try to use Bengay or any similar stuff on your ankle.Use cold compress there.Don't use directly to your skin.wrap it in thin cloth and yes try to not to wear any tight sneakers, shoes as it can aggravate the problem more.Just wear regular sleeper for few days until u feel better and yeah may be you want to give up high heel sandals and shoes too but wear flat bottom shoes??Good luck.

That happens, happened to me and my friends. Injuries leave traces (my doctor told me) and it's hard to heal them completely, like scars. wear a bandage, it's just a trace. My injuries sometimes used to hurt in bad weather some years after or when I put on high heels after sport shoes. It's ok. Will stop soon. Don't blame your doctor. The one that is healing me now... told me my brake is not healed yet without an x-ray, or even looking at it. The one that took off my gips some years ago was drunk... still I'm alive. And even rather healthy. You'll be fine
