First , just a reminder to the left. . . HATRED BLOCKS RATIONAL THOUGHT .
Ok , now that we've gotten that out of the way , consider the following ::

New CNN poll -- President Bush's approval rating went up again in July . It went from 32% to 36% overall , and amongst Republicans it went up 16% in one month . Worth noting !!

Zogby poll 8-1-07 -- Regarding their handling of the war in Iraq , Congress now enjoys a 3% approval rating . 3% . Worth noting ? PFFT , you bet . I've never seen anybody get any lower . Have you ?

Iraq War Surge -- High ranking Democrats who previously were against the surge and voted against it , now admit that there is no doubt the surge is working . Hmmmmm . There's work to be done politically , but definitely a great start . Worth noting ? OMG yes .

READ ON , there's one more to consider

Courtesy of another user (suthrnlyts) we now know how foolish it can be for a town who is heavily dependent on Conservative spending $$$ to hold their own little local lynch mob and vote locally to have the President impeached . Yes the lovely town of Telluride, Co. has made that suicidal mistake , and as a result , Conservative vacationers are cancelling their reservations in droves . Their own Mayor was shocked at the backlash !!

So , do you think the hatred from the left is finally back-firing ?
Or does this all mean nothing ?

Yesterday I heard a poll where the President was at 40% and Congress was at an all time low of 15%. So yes it is backfiring especially when a Democrat says that the progress in Iraq hurts Democrats. Thats great less military deaths and progress in helping Iraq and the dems lose votes so they are mad - Shows they are the Hate America crowd for sure. Just look at Lanny Davis's quotes from last election year about how he saw the hatred of the bloggers and how it was over the top.

Sooner or later it had to catch up with them. When i saw Harry Reid on TV stating flat out that the war was lost, I wanted to slap that stupid toupee right off his head. How dare he make a pronouncement like that? what the heck is wrong with him?

They just can't seem to get the idea through their heads that a lot of folks didn't vote Republican the last go-round because they are unhappy with the way that the war is being waged, NOT BECAUSE THEY WANT TO PULL OUT AND RUN LIKE LITTLE WHIPPED DOGS!

Americans don't like losing. Is that so hard to understand?

I don't like the way this thing is being waged and that's why I thought that the surge was a step in the right direction, but to cut and run now? That's a Bill Clinton tactic for defeat.

Hatred and attacking speech always backfire eventually--it helped lead to the DNC winning (barely) the majority in Congress, and withholding from it for awhile always helps presidential candidates (only for so long though).

Not having a few conservative vacationers is not a problem-that is how we're supposed to work. You dont like something, dont give them money. Once it gets enough publicity the opponents to Bush will start vacationing there instead.

Polls change like the weather. The majority of high ranking Dems want the war to be over NOW. The majority of the American citizens want to bring our troops home now. If the surge is working so well, when are we bringing our troops home? How long will this "surge" go on? Why doesn't Iraq have it's government in place?

Wow.36%!

You must be giddy that Lil' Bush is ridin' so high, pardner!

And,I'll think you'll find the vast majority of people who vacation in Telluride are more than a little to the left in their political leanings.

But,drivel and drool on some more,my good man.

And as for the surge working, that's basically a load of mainstream BS.If you'll pay any attention to the facts, attacks on Us troops are back on the upswing, attacks on the infrastructure have gotten so bad that Baghdad has,at the most, one hour of electricity a day,and can go days at a time without municipal water. The insurgents have adjuste tactics.

But go ahead with your con dream of glory.

We on the left will be here to help pick up the pieces when the idiocy of George Bush is finally over

Yes, it's backfiring in the polls. Now that they're in the spotlight, the American people are seeing them clearly for what they are, vomit spewing know nothings.

But more to the point, it's backfiring on them as a group too because they make their decisions based on this hatred. Rather than getting over it and looking at what is best for America and the American people, they're spending their time pursuing their rabid, hate filled agenda.

Frankly, I think all that hatred is sort of scaring the American people. I think more and more folks are sitting back and saying, "Holy crap!" with each new rant from the Nancy and Harry Show.

All this proves is that many democrat officials who were at first, for the war, then changed their minds - in reality they've changed their minds in some cases, six times now - on whether or not the effort in Iraq has any value to them.

Money talks and politicians are first and foremost, lawyers. Where the money goes they follow.

Private citizens wants and needs mean nothing to these imbeciles.

Just a bad gamble after the gain in 06, the left base quickly forgot that the victory came from "Middle of the Road" Dem's and middle of the road conservative districts and states. Thus the victory was narrow. By then allowing the far left to dictate the policy and the really far left leadership of Reid and Palosi they upset the base that gave them the victory and now have alienated that base and they are leaning back to the middle and right.

The surge is working? I would laugh if people weren't being pointlessly killed and maimed. Bookmark this post and refer to it when we leave Iraq in bloody civil war. When will conservatives accept the evidence of their catastrophic failures?
