There is NO such thing as reality tv. What you actually see is contestants competing for fame and/or fortune. The beter term for it is contestant tv. And yes it is quite boring. On an episode of Malcolm in the Middle, Malcolm turns to the camera and says, "the only thing worse than no tv is golf on tv!" this was while he and his brothers were watching golf on tv. Your so-called "reality" tv is actually worse than golf on tv. Wow, I guess the genius was wrong! Hey, that means I'm smarter than a fake genius!
Does that mean I'm also smarter than a fifth grader?

the reality game shows are getting boring because there are so many out and some don't make any sense at all! there was a time when i loved watching the game shows, but every network started coming out with 2 and 3 at a time!

It was great when it first came out as it was a totally new concept. Now it's hard to switch on the TV without the latest reality show shoving itself down your throat!! Get back to the good drama and documentary stuff that is the backbone of quality television!

it all depends what you define as reality tv...
big brother / dancing / singing etc shows not really what i class as reality
showing people doing jobs etc. where it is actually REAL and not staged, are good in some aspects..
I liked the thing about the trawlermen not so long ago, and the thing about demolition etc..
things that give you an insight into things are good, as for a load of muppets playing up for the camera to get money... i have no time for.
