he needs to see a urologist, such bleeding could indicate bladder cancer or even advanced prostate cancer, he should be checked out.

I'd say at his age it is a bladder infection, u might also and this sounds a little off beet here but u could massage his prostate. I know he is not active but he could use it maybe, a good one to clean him out. The doc might even do that, some say it is great but for me it is an exit area only. Now to find out how to massage it u cn do a search and find out.

Not a good sign..
He needs to see your internist and a urologist ASAP!! . Period end of sentence.

It could be many things, kidney problems, bladder or prostate, could be cancer if AB did not stop bleeding.
Need to check prostate for tumors, bladder for tumors, bone scan for spread.

If the big "C" you need to get things in the works to see an oncologist as well.

My father (similar age) experienced similar "issues" over the last six months, tumor in bladder led to blood in urine. Cancer spread into bladder wall. requiring bladder removal and stomatic urethral outlet. (external bladder.)

Don't wait make the appointments today.

prostate infection, prostate cancer, bladder and UTI issues. antibiotics used to treat UTI's are usually not strong enough to battle prostate infections. prostate infections take long sessions of high dose antibiotics to cure. what did his urine test show? did it come back for an infection? if so, a week may not be long enough, or he made need stronger drugs. talk to your doc. if it showed no infection they need to explore further. they will likely do a prostate exam more blood work to ck his psa levels.

Bleeding from the end of the penis can be due to a number of different causes, including a small tear in the foreskin, but it can also be due to infection or inflammation. It is a good idea for your boyfriend to take a urine sample to his doctor to have it checked. His doctor will probably also want to examine his testicles to ensure there are no obvious lumps, and may suggest sending swabs to check for chlamydia infection. In most cases of one-off bleeding, no obvious cause is found, but it is best to be checked, just in case.

It is told, if a male in a long run is not sexually active, he has a high possibility to experience prostate cancer. This way, find a sound oncologist near your area, or beforehand, meet some urologis, and or internis to check it.

Go get another opinion. It likely has something to do with his prostate. Don't wait either.

Take Care.

He needs to go back to his doc and get referred to a Urologist. It had something to do with his Urinary tract, could even be his kidneys. I hope he gets better without anything serious.
