Strange things happen in the universe. There are things that are simply unexplainable. People believe in ghosts, UFOs and mythical characters of one sort or another. So why not, on that premise, see how people can believe in a total abject failure? Some people either don't mind or can't see that he lies, is corrupt and surrounds himself with corruption and liars, is incompetent, arrogant and greedy. The last of these only slightly but his VP is more in that way than Dubya is.

During the Reagan years there were people who if Ronald Reagan said the sky was pink with purple polkadots they would swear on a stack of Bibles a mile high that the sky was pink with purple polkadots only because Ronnie said so. They could, of course see that it wasn't but that didn't matter. It is kind of the same thing. Then there are the clingons. Those are people that cling to any powerful person. Loyal no matter what. And, of course those who ignore the person in the job and believe in blind obedience to the title as one would in a dictatorship.

Facts first and foremost.

Then the constant hatred, lies, and slander of the liberal democrats and liberal news media.

Hey Rage, excellent point!

Let's look at Nancy Pelosi and her dealings with her husband's companies, Sandy Burglar, Jamie Garelic, the Vince Foster murder, Hillary's billing records scandal, Ted Kennedy's negligent homicide, Kerry flip-flops, Gore financial gains because of "global warming", Dan Rather forgery, liable and slander of the president, and really do I need to go on? The facts clearly point out that the liberals are the ones who are loyal to their people and they are the ones whose leaders are the real criminal that broke laws made and passed by Congress instead of emotions made up by liberals.

They see wars as a football game. And they are the conformists of America, who can't separate opinion from facts, and would never question their own. If Bush were to turn really vicious and start some kind of holocaust in America, like on illegals or gays or liberals, some of his followers would be just fine with that.

Maybe it's the same thing that make some of these loopy people stay loyal to the Clintons despite the fact that it's been proven that they are both criminals without a trace of conscience or morals.

Power, The longer the stay with the president , they still hold power. But as it gets closer to the election they will part ways. I would not call that loyalty but they do....it's all greed and power.

Loyalty is a good trait but when it's blind loyalty, people get fooled. Mr. bush hasn't shown much loyalty to his citizens, especially our soldiers that are serving in the military.
