Studies show that lazy people live longer. Also a married man lives longer than a married woman. A single woman lives longer than a single man. These studies may show some evidence that being lazy and a man could be beneficial to your health. I am a single father of two small ones, so I am going to die at a young age if I don't find a special woman to help support me in raising my children.

Have you ever seen the movie Seven? Remember that Sloth is one of the 7 deadly sins. It doesn't necessarily make you a terrible person, but not many people will be happy with you if you aren't a productive person in this working society. Try to at least pull your fair amount of work and then you can be as laid back as you want to be.

In my culture, that type of attitude is frowned upon, but being laid back has its benefits, as long as its done in moderation. I have a theory that type a personalities are more vulnerable to dementia in their declining years.

Sometimes, I just feel like kicking off my shoes and having a horror movie marathon, but other times, I love the smell of Pine-Sol after I mopped the entire house.
