p^(-1/4) p^(3/2) - p^(-1/4) p(1/3)
p^(5/4) - p^(1/12)

= p^[ (-1 + 6) / 4 ] - p^(1/3)
= p^(5/4) - p^(1/3)

this cannot be solved anymore
