What was going on in your life?

I had just finished my freshman year of college. I was living at home for the summer, working full time for a credit card company and was definitley enjoying being young and single.
Now 4 years later i have my degree and a beautiful 4 month old daughter.

I do not do well in hot weather, and August is not only hot, but humid with lots of rain. My gf is exactly the same. We decided to go to the Laurentians in Canada for the month of August. It was heaven, cool at night, great food, and a place to recharge your spirit. We had a super time and may do it again next year.

Had built up so much annual leave at work that I earnt a 3 week holiday in Scotland. Had a week with my brother at the Edinburgh festival, a week on a boat on the Caledonian canal and a week in a large house in the highlands with a big group of friends. Heaven.

That was the blackout year. I went to my father in law's house since my wife was 8 months pregnant. She wanted to go home...16 flights up....I told her she would have the baby that night if she did!
