I have a picture frame made of glass and the edges are a bit sharp. Does anyone know the best, easiest way to fix this without damaging the frame? I'm afraid of getting cut when handling the frame. Thanks.

Emery cloth works well for this. I have installed glass piping and this is what we used on the cut edges.

You can actually sand the sharp edges with sandpaper. Wrap sandpaper around a block of wood and gently sand, or use an orbital sander. Use a relatively fine grit paper, about a 150 or so.

I have used a torch to melt the edges smooth. It is not difficult, and it does a good job. Just be careful and take your time. It won't take much to soften the edges. Try it on a scrap piece of glass to get the feel for it.

good luck.

get a new rough grit nail file for artificial fingernails and try to "sand " the edges down with it till it is not so sharp.
